Service Description

The Accepted Programme is the single most important document in an NEC4 contract, yet also the most frequently neglected. The programme is not just a planning artefact but a contractual instrument governing how compensation events are assessed for time, how progress is measured, and what powers the Project Manager holds when a compliant programme is not maintained. The course is designed for Planners, Project Managers and Commercial Teams who need to treat the programme as a contract document rather than a Gantt chart. It covers the full content requirements of clause 31.2, grounds for non-acceptance, the revision process under clause 32, the treatment of float and Time Risk Allowances, and the consequences of proceeding without an Accepted Programme including the Project Manager's entitlement to assess compensation events.
