Case Studies

A snapshot of some of the work delivered by BPIC Network in partnership with clients across the built environment. From inclusion workshops and Careers In Construction campaigns to youth engagement events and talent-pipeline programmes, each project reflects a shared commitment to widening access, promoting construction as a credible career choice, and creating lasting social impact. Together, these initiatives demonstrate how targeted, well-designed interventions can support clients’ social value objectives while opening doors for the next generation.

Willmott Dixon- Inclusion Workshops

Location: London

Objective: Inclusion workshops across the organisation to gauge company and employee relations around Inclusion

Actions:

  • 6 workshops Carried out with different groups

  • Feedback on Inclusion Initiatives. 

Outcomes: Inclusion Roadmap with Objectives and key milestones mapped out

Parkeray - Inclusive Leadership

Location:  London

Objective: Improve inclusive leadership and diversity best practice across all levels of the business.

Actions:  

  • Delivered Leadership Inclusion Training for senior team.

  • Rolled out whole-group training programme over 6 months. 

Outcomes: Improved leadership confidence, inclusive behaviours, and workforce culture.

CBRE - Careers In Construction Campaign

Audience:  UK Talent Market

Objective: Boost visibility of CBRE careers and attract diverse talent into real estate, advisory and business services roles.

Actions:  

  •  National digital talent campaign

  • Job promotion across LinkedIn, Instagram and BPIC network 

  • Inclusive storytelling and employer brand amplification

Outcomes: 

  • Increased traffic to CBRE careers

  • Higher engagement from diverse professionals

  • Strengthened employer brand positioning

HS2 - Careers In Construction Campaign

Audience:  UK-wide professionals + early careers

Objective: Showcase HS2 careers, promote long-term project opportunities and build awareness among diverse talent.

Actions:  

  • Long-term employer brand and career awareness campaign

  • Storytelling around the HS2 project and engineering impact 

  • Online engagement across multiple platforms

Outcomes: 

  • Enhanced visibility of HS2 as a major employer

  • Increased interest in engineering and project delivery roles 

  • Growth in diverse engagement across regions

GLA - Careers In Construction

Location: London

Objective: Engage young Londoners and improve awareness of local pathways into construction and built environment careers.

Actions:

  • Youth-focused talent campaign

  • Partnerships with schools, colleges and youth networks 

  • Career access messaging tailored to London’s diverse communities

Outcomes:  

  • Strong participation from London youth and reach 2208 people

  • Increased visibility of built environment role

  • Supported wider GLA youth employment strategy

Campaign Reach: 1,000+ young people

GLA – School Mapping Programme 

Location:  London

Objective: Map and coordinate school engagement activities across major infrastructure projects.

Actions:  

  • Reviewed and align outreach efforts among key contractors (e.g. Network Rail, Thames Water).

Outcomes: More cohesive regional strategy for education engagement and career awareness.

Objective: Strengthen community engagement in development projects

Actions:  

  • Reviewed community feedback on over 100 planned development plots.

  • Facilitated dialogue between the council and residents.

Outcomes: 

  • Improved transparency, trust, and inclusivity in regeneration projects.

Higgins - Careers In Construction

Location: London

Objective: Support S106 commitments by engaging local young people for employment opportunities on live projects.

Actions:  

  • Location-based targeting of young residents

  • Campaign across schools, colleges and youth networks 

  • CV review support and interview preparation

Outcomes: 

  • 100+ students engaged for interviews and placements

  • Strengthened local employment pipeline 

  • Delivered against S106 requirements
