We are looking for a dedicated Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent team, in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. We are looking for someone with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring diverse candidates. The responsibilities will include managing a team of recruiters and clients, identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation.



Responsibilities

  • Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications

  • Collaborating with Account Managers to hit and exceed targets

  • Attracting suitable passive and active candidates through databases and online tools such as LinkedIn

  • Conducting interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule

  • Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.

  • Promoting great employment opportunities to candidates

  • Communicating with unsuccessful candidates (gather and save shortlisting records and interview notes in accordance with data protection legislation). Prompt for timely hiring manager feedback when necessary

  • Working closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices

  • Using various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs

  • Ensuring proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately

  • Providing feedback to management about details regarding applications

  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization

  • Providing recruitment reports to account Managers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

  • Acting as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Requirements

  • 3 + Experience within recruitment (construction industry) & hiring diverse candidates

  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews

  • Managing recruitment teams

  • Experience of implementing different recruitment strategies

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter; results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Thought-Leader with creative solutions to make immediate impact

  • Good interpersonal skills & decision-making skills

  • Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing

  • Good understanding and experience with HR tools such as ATS and HRIS
