Delivery of blue light client estate strategy/refurbishment projects for police force in the North West.


The refurbishment projects consist of the reconfiguration of the police force estate, including future delivery of the client’s estates strategy.


Working as part of our consultancy business you will be working closely with the Our client programme lead, involved in stakeholder management, client reporting, design team management, consultant and contractors throughout the delivery of the client’s projects.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Our client programme lead and leadership team, working on the strategy and delivery of the client’s  projects.

  • Maintaining that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project, so supporting the team to ensure safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel, is always a critical element working at Our client.

  • Managing the Our client design team and co-ordination of the project design, Our client are also the principal designer.

  • Directing on the monitoring and coordination of all key aspects of the project, including but not limited to, cost, contract, value engineering, risk management, logistic strategies, programme management, health and safety, quality management, M&E, design and environment.

  • Coordinating timely and communicating with clients and stakeholders and ensuring the close-out and practical completion schedules are completed and issued in a timely manner.

  • Managing with the building handover process, including snagging, sign-off, testing and commissioning, training, handover documentation.

Requirements

You have experience delivering public sector projects, it would be advantageous to have blue light project experience. You will have a related degree in a construction-related discipline. You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships. You will have a construction or project management background and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Our client has to offer.


This role will include an extensive (NPPV Level 2F) vetting process including the vetting of direct family members.  The position will not be confirmed until vetting approval has been granted.
