About the job
To join the team at the historic powerstation regeneration project. The power station will include approximately 100 new retail, food and beverage units, as well as a 2,000 capacity events venue and unique chimney lift experience. The power station will also provide c.500,000 sq ft of new office space which will be home to Apple’s new London campus, and will include 253 new residential homes.
To provide visible and effective, leadership and direction to a project and be part of the health and safety team to implement business choices by being a provider of guidance.
Acting as an advisor in own area of expertise, to keep the business and projects abreast of new developments, and apply professional standards to ensure best practice.
Maintaining core areas of expertise and impart knowledge to aid the development, training and mentoring of others.
Applying tools and techniques, defining business/project strategies and methods to initiate and/or implement change to improve business performance.
Providing H&S advice to Our client managers and project managers to assist them in achieving business goals.
Maintaining awareness of business implications of own activities to improve the quality of technical or business recommendations.
Creating, developing and maintaining an extensive range of internal/external relationships to maximise impact of expertise and knowledge to influence the quality of strategic decision making.
Advising on and interpret project contractual and statutory requirements and obligations to protect the project’s integrity.
Establishing, developing and maintaining long-term corporate relationships with customers, partners and suppliers to assist the achievement of business targets.
You have experience of managing health, safety and wellbeing, in a large complex organisation and a proven record of achieving key results. You will also have effective and deep technical knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing, legislation and delivery relevant to the sector, business unit(s) and Our clients business.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships. You will have a construction or project management projects background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Our client has to offer.
