The pre-construction team provide a critically important function to the business, a fundamental part of which rests with the Creative Services team.

As the result of the current nature of the industry and the current status of the business itself a vacancy has arisen within the busy, hard-working, deadline-driven Creative Services department for a Graduate 3D Visualiser to bring support, creativity and innovation to all BW tender submissions. Reporting directly to Creative Services Director, the Graduate 3D Visualiser will be mainly responsible for tenders, presentations and live projects working alongside a team of graphic bid designers.

The role of a Graduate 3D Visualiser is a full-time permanent position working five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 until 17:30 including flexible working based on deadlines.


The successful candidate will produce innovative and constructive visualisations for the Pre-Construction team alongside providing support for the Creative Services team; duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Leading the logistics floorplan process within BW, creating content ready for initial mark ups in a tight deadline driven environment for both pre-construction and operations. Initially using Sketch Up with the option of implementing other preferred softwares to achieve the same or a higher standard quality of work.

  • Understand the concepts and initial design intent, and apply this into a graphic representation. This may involve reproducing the architect’s concept into a graphic form, or may involve interpretation and artistic design ability to represent the ideas in a graphic form with an opportunity to develop skills to achieve photo-realistic 3D renderings and animations, not essential for this role.

  • Read and accurately interpret architectural illustrations, 2D CAD files, or other 3D modelling data, as specified within projects and realizing those designs as compelling imagery.

  • Development and maintenance of a 3D asset library suitable for architectural rendering needs and applications.

  • Efficient modelling and converting of data sets from CAD or other 3D modelling packages.

  • Ability to influence and produce innovative design solutions on bespoke projects.

  • Multi-tasking/prioritizing workloads.
