1. Why did you choose this career path? My dad was a pipe fitter and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Having spent several years in the industry as a plumber, I wanted a new challenge and set my eyes on what I felt would be a more rewarding career. 2. What did you study in school/university? I’m currently studying my HNC with long term goals of being a Chartered Building Services Engineer. On finishing my HNC, I will study my HND in Building Services Engineering at London South Bank University. 3. What certifications are associated with your career? You can gain chartered status through The Chartered Institution Of Building Services Engineers. 4. What advice do you have for someone looking to pursue this career pat? My advice would be think of being in the same position 5-10 years from now, and if the thoughts make you happy, come up with a structured plan to arrive at that destination. Find ways to integrate great life skills such as discipline, perseverance and resilience to take your career to the next level!
